Our Teachers

All of our teachers are passionate about music and the development of children.

They create a fun, informal, social setting that spurs engagement and supports each child's learning style.

Sharon has been working with children in various settings for many years. She has experience as a preschool teacher and family day care, she loves being around children especially now that hers are all grown!

She began playing the clarinet at age 10 and is now a member of The New Horizons Band at The Portsmouth Music and Arts Center and is also part of the percussion ensemble and Ukulele ensemble at PMAC. Sharon also sings in a 200 woman chorus called Voices from the Heart, and if you attend a concert, you may hear her singing a solo! You can also hear Sharon singing around the house or at the grocery store.

She has three adult children, two of which are Music Together® graduates! She joined our Music Together family in 1999 and in 2021 she took over as director of Music Together of Portsmouth. Sharon brings her lively spirit and genuine love for music and children to her popular classes.
